Transmitting

Appellate Records

Let's save some trees and money.

Send appellate record to Courts of Appeal or Supreme Court

Once the appellate record is created, it needs
to get to the Courts of Appeal or Supreme Court. TAP facilitates electronically sending it to the appropriate court. This saves time and eliminates the cost and burden of printing, binding and mailing them. TAP is cheaper, faster and safer!

Integrate with appellate court's CMS

Once the appellate record is created, TAP can electronically send it directly into the appellate court's document or case management system. If one doesn't exist, they can be uploaded to a secure cloud storage site to be downloaded.

Reporter's transcript

Whether it's an electronic or paper document, TAP
can transmit the reporter's transcript as well. This allows users to have one place to transmit everything that needs to be sent to the appellate court.

Transmission confirmation

Upon successful transmission, TAP sends a confirmation receipt to the submitting court
for their records.

"My clerk staff insisted that I find time so they could show me how much easier it has made their lives...Every judge should take the opportunity to watch the assembly of a record now. It is really far less labor-intensive...A great reform. A great step forward in efficiencies."

 - Presiding Judge Ann Moorman, Mendocino County
